ASTHMA ACTION PLAN - available in 8 languages!

An ASTHMA ACTION PLAN is a step-by-step plan developed with your health care provider to maintain good day-to-day asthma control.  Asthma varies from person to person, so it will be YOUR guide for:
  1. Taking your medication(s)
  2. Avoiding asthma triggers
  3. Tracking and judging your level of symptom control (green, yellow and red zones)
  4. Responding to asthma symptoms
  5. Recognizing and treating an asthma attack
  6. Adjusting medications
  7. Seeking emergency care
(Mayo Clinic, 2014; NIH, 2014)
